Platform Purpose
Didit is designed to help travelers discover and book unique experiences during their journeys. Our mission is to connect travelers with memorable experiences curated by local providers.
User Conduct and Restrictions
- No Data Copying or Scraping: Users may not copy, scrape, or otherwise reproduce content or data from Didit without explicit written permission.
- Prohibited Activities: Any activity that violates local or international laws, including unauthorized marketing, harassment, or exploitation of other users, is strictly prohibited.
- Respect for Privacy: Personal information shared through Didit must not be collected, distributed, or used without consent.
Didit reserves the right to take action against any violation of these rules, including legal remedies.
Response to Violations
If a user violates these Terms, Didit may take one or more of the following actions:
- Issue a warning or notice to the user.
- Temporarily suspend the user’s account or access.
- Permanently terminate the account.
- Block access to the platform.
- Report the violation to authorities, if applicable.
- Seek compensation or pursue legal action.
- Actions taken will depend on the severity and nature of the violation, as determined solely by Didit.
Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Didit disclaims liability as follows:
- Platform Content: Didit does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content or experiences listed. Users engage with experiences at their own discretion and risk.
- Third-Party Providers: Didit is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or satisfaction of experiences offered by third-party providers. Disputes must be resolved directly with the provider.
- Limitations of Liability: Didit and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Service Availability: Didit does not guarantee uninterrupted access and is not liable for platform downtime, technical issues, or data loss.
- Jurisdictional Exceptions: Certain jurisdictions may not allow some limitations on liability. In such cases, Didit’s liability is limited to the maximum extent permissible by law.
Modifications to Terms
Didit reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated by updating the "Effective Date" above. Continued use of the platform after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Sri Lanka.
